SUNDAYS AT PUUF
Sunday Services and More TOP
Sunday Services

Sundays: 10:30 am
Our Sunday morning service is the time of the week when the community comes together. Through words, music, contemplation, and shared sacred space, we celebrate our core religious values and are encouraged to live them daily.
Religious Exploration for children and youth is available during and before services - check with Kathleen Moscato for more specifics. There is also nursery childcare for the littlest ones during services.
Religious Exploration (Sunday School)

The Vision of the Religious Exploration Committee is that Children and Youth ages 0 to 18 will…
- Develop a UU Identity
- Become knowledgeable and aware of UU heritage, history and principles
- Develop a dedication to service
- Establish personal core values
- Establish spiritual and religious traditions
- Acquire the necessary tools to embark on a lifelong spiritual path
Scrip Sales

Ongoing
A great way to contribute to PUUF while you shop—without paying extra. Make Scrip part of your monthly stewardship practice using preloaded cards instead of cash, and PUUF earns a percentage of each purchase at a variety of retailers including:
Sprouts, Michaels, CVS, Regal Theaters, REI, Albertsons, Whole Foods, Home Depot, Barnes & Noble, Stater Brothers, Starbucks and more.
If we all use cards EVERY MONTH for our regular shopping, the earnings will really add up. Please visit the Scrip table on the patio between services. We have a variety of preloaded shopping cards for you to choose from AND we are taking orders for the next batch of cards. Our orders will be placed on the first Sunday of every month, so come see us at the next service to submit your order!
It's money you would spend anyway, and every little bit helps to keep our Fellowship doing what we know needs to be done.
Please contact Li-Anne Mufson auntlianne@gmail.com or Hilary Rogers hilary.rogers@gmail.com with any questions.
Hospitality Team

Every Sunday. Volunteers welcome!
Our primary task is to set up coffee, tea, etc. as well as donated food for the Hospitality time on the patio on Sundays. Set up begins at about 9:15 AM. Clean up is usually finished by 12:00 noon. Volunteer times work around the services. We also enjoy informal conversation in the kitchen.
We try to provide healthy snacks, especially for the children and youth.
Anyone is welcome to join the team. Please contact Eileen Maurer: eileenmaurer@yahoo.com
Fair Trade Sales

Currently we are holding in person sales the second Sunday of the month and making home deliveries.
The group sells organic, fair trade coffee, tea, chocolate, and olive oil to help support small-scale organic farmers.
For more information or to place an order, please call or text Pat Bentz: 614-519-1901

Exploring Our Beloved Community

Our doors, both physically and virtually, are open wide to all who seek a spiritual home, a community of mutual respect, understanding, and love.
In our congregation, belonging means being part of a vibrant tapestry of diverse beliefs and backgrounds. We honor and embrace this diversity, for it is what makes our community so strong and rich. As Unitarian Universalists, we are bound together not by a single creed, but by a shared commitment to the principles of love, justice, and spiritual growth.
Membership in our community is an invitation to engage in this spiritual journey more deeply. It's a commitment to growing together, learning together, and supporting one another in our individual and collective spiritual endeavors. Becoming a member of our beloved community means not only receiving support but offering it, actively participating in our shared journey.
However, membership is not the only way to belong in our congregation. Your presence and participation are valuable, whether you choose to become a member or not. All are beloved and worthy in this community; all are seen, heard, and cherished.
Welcome to our beloved community. Whether you are here for a season, a reason, or a lifetime, we are glad that you are here, and we look forward to journeying alongside you.
Please contact Jessica Fairchild, Pathways & Membership Chair, at jlfairchild3@gmail.com for more information about actively participating in our community or with questions about membership.

Anyone who is interested in engendering connections with other men is invited to attend. This is a support group where all group members abide by UU guidelines of "right relations". We are, however, not equipped to handle active mental health issues.
The Men's Support Group has the purpose of bringing our members closer by encouraging personal connections between members. Our format is checking in without cross-talk followed by a discussion around what we have shared. If there is time left in our two hour meeting, there is a topic designed to engender discussion also with the purpose of bringing us closer together. We also do service projects directed at the Palomar Fellowship and wider community.

Earth Care Ministry

In January of 2020, more than sixty congregants met to talk about their love and worry for our home the planet Earth. The morning was filled with discussion and brainstorming. The vision for EarthCare Ministry, for now, is to have a three-pronged plan through care and regeneration on our property, connection and deepening through education, and action in the community and with other organizations.
