The PUUF LGBTQ+ Uplift Ministry is a group of passionate and authentic individuals who desire to create additional, centralized support for LGBTQ+ folks in our community. We do this by standing up & organizing events to strengthen rights for trans & broader LGBTQ+ who are deeply threatened today.
We protested Prop 8 together in community back in 2008. We became an official LGBTQ+ Welcoming Congregation (a designation of the UUA) around 2018. The time has come to gather and stand up again—in small ways and large—against anti-trans laws and whatever else is to come.

Our LGBTQ+ Uplift Ministry has committed to serving the North County LGBTQ Resource Center, and one of the ways we do that is by volunteering on First Fridays of each month in their food distribution program.
Foodies & Goodies partners with Feeding San Diego’s Food Rescue Initiative to make sure surplus food reaches our community instead of going to waste. We rely on dedicated volunteers like you to make this work possible!

Uplift Collective (Unitarian Universalist Association): This is a digital ministry that includes ministers, educators, and seminarians who use social media to spread messages of love, queer joy, and solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.
