Welcome to Palomar Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. We are a liberal religious community that values connecting, learning, and serving.
We connect in a variety of ways, beginning with Sunday Services for shared affirmation of the shaping power of community, and to learn, grow, and deepen together. We gather throughout the week for various activities & groups, to connect, learn, share ideas and inspiration, support each other and our fellowship and community so we can serve, doing the work the world calls us to.
We connect across beliefs – we are Buddhists and Christians, atheists and agnostics, humanists, Jewish and freethinkers, pagans and nones. With open minds and open hearts, we learn from each other’s wisdom. We connect across identities –building a community that strives to include people of all ages, ethnicities, races, backgrounds, sexual identities and orientations. Learning from and being changed by our collective experiences, we build and serve the Beloved Community—the not yet, but coming into being, community of justice and love—as conceived by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
We connect with the rest of nature on our five-acre grounds through our Earth Care Ministry where we remember that the earth sustains us and is our home. We serve the congregation with our time, talents and treasures and we serve the wider community in acts of witness, justice and love.
