Palomar UU Fellowship is a deeply caring community.
But sometimes, we don’t know who in our community needs what kind of care. And sometimes, the congregation and ministers haven’t responded adequately to the known needs for care, because we haven’t had the structures that support it. Come help us plan and rebuild these support systems.
Rev. Sarah has been talking with many members and friends of PUUF about our shared ministry of community care, and how we can build systems for supporting one another, such as:
- A Caring Team for coordinating meals and rides
- A Lay Pastoral Care Team to visit folks who are unable to come to the Fellowship
- A group for caregivers that would complement our Grief Group
- A team to work with the minister and staff on memorial services
Come help us shape our community care at our Caring Summit! Share what ideas excite you? What do you think would be most meaningful and impactful for our Fellowship’s shared ministry?
Please RSVP via Google Forms so we can plan to accommodate you!
Childcare is available upon request.
